The Early Years Learning Framework was developed in 2009 by the Australian government. This document guides all planning and learning decisions. It has a specific emphasis on play-based learning and recognises the importance of communication and language including early literacy and numeracy.
In line with this document children are provided with a preschool program in the year before they attend kindergarten. This program includes transition to school experiences used to make children aware of the differences and become familiar with a new setting in preparation for starting school.
At Early Beginnings, our rooms are individual and unique, tailored to suit the age and development stage of your child as well as the diversity of the educators, children, families and wider community. We have qualified Room leaders that oversee the provision of quality experiences to every child and assist in the implementation of a responsive and meaningful program.
